help fill the honey pot
Bear Cottage, an initiative of The Children's Hospital at Westmead, has an annual fundraising goal of $3.2 million.
This goal is represented by a honey pot. This amount covers all operating costs for the hospice at its current programming and service levels. Bear Cottage receives no government funding. The hospice is dependent on individuals, community groups, corporations and philanthropic foundations to help fill the honey pot.
Some of the ways you may consider helping Bear Cottage fill the honey pot are as follows:
make a donation
You can support Bear Cottage by making a monetary gift. Donations greater than $2 are tax deductible. Please click here to donate online securely or by contacting the Fundraising Department on (02)9976 8300. You may also send a cheque payable to Bear Cottage at PO Box 2500 Manly NSW 1655. From as little as $5 per week you can help make an enormous difference to the quality of life of sick children. This can be done with the convenience of automatic payments.
Circle of Friends Partners pledge a periodic gift of a set amount on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basic. Arrangements can be made to have such a donation debited from an account or charged to a credit card for the agreed upon terms.
If you would like to join Bear Cottage's Bandage Bear Club, please email Claire McCarthy or ring 02 9976 8307. Circle of Friends gifts are receipted annually at the end of the financial year.

Why not hold a fundraising event through your community group, business, work or school and raise some funds for a very worthwhile cause?
Fundraising events can be as simple as holding a sausage sizzle, raffle, trivia night or dinner. You can have lots of fun and make a difference too. Please download our fundraising application form or contact the Fundraising Department on (02)9976 8300 for further information or help organising your fundraising event.
